Legumes

Legumes have a host of benefits. Farmers primarily think of legumes as a source of free nitrogen for their plants. They have the ability to pull nitrogen from the atmostphere and store it in the soil. They are a high protein plant critical for an animal’s immune system and growth. The greatest benefit in our eyes is the fact that they produce heaps of a steady source of pollen during the summer months attracting all sorts of insects.
